Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1 :Reach Rishikesh

    When you reach Delhi, our tour manager will welcome you and transfer you to Rishikesh on a road trip that stretches for 6 hours (250 km). Rishikesh is a rejuvenating destination found where the River Ganga joins with River Chandrabhaga. Rishikesh is famous among pilgrims as the base camp for the famous Chardham itinerary. Every year, thousands of tourists reach Rishikesh to start their Chardham journey covering Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath temples.

    Once you reach Rishikesh, you will be checked into a hotel. In the evening, you will be taken on a city sightseeing tour. The first destination is the 450 feet long iron bridge that runs over River Ganges. According to mythology, this iron bridge, Laxman Jhula, was built by Laxman for his brother, Lord Ram. Later, you will be visiting the Adi Guru Shankaracharya’s temple, Bharat Mandir. The highlight of the day is the visit to Triveni Ghat. The ghat gets its name because it is the spot where River Ganges meets with two other major rivers; River Sarawati and River Yamuna. Taking a holy dip at this site is said to open up the path for salvation. The last attraction of the day is Trayambakeshwar Temple, which is built for Lord Shiva.

    You will be driven back to your hotel in Rishikesh for an overnight stay.

  • Day 2 :City Reach Lansdowne

    After breakfast, the checkout formalities start. Later, you will be driven to a cantonment town of the country, Lansdowne. This nostalgic hill town was developed during British rule in India for a summer escape. Once you reach this hill town located at 1706m above mean sea level, you will be checked into a hotel.

    After a brief rest, you will be taken to the Darwan Singh Sangrahalaya, also called the War Museum of Indian Army. Later, you will be visiting the famous ‘Tip n Top’ point to visit St. Mary’s Church. This church is now a reading room for the locals and tourists. Enjoy the views from Lansdowne covering the peaks of Trishul and Chaukhamba mountain ranges from the famous viewpoints of Lansdowne like Snow View and Tiffin Top. Finally, you will be covering the Tarkeshwar Mahadev temple, a Shiva temple located at 2,092m above mean sea level.

    You will be driven back to your hotel room for an overnight stay.

  • Day 3 :Safari at Jim Corbett

    The day starts very early as you will be driven towards Jim Corbett National Park after breakfast and check-out. It would take 5 hours to reach the park (165 km) from Lansdowne. Once you reach the park, you will be checked into the jungle resort of the park. After a brief rest, refreshment, and food, you will be left on your own to enjoy the evening as you please. If you desire, you can choose to visit the park for an evening safari. Evening safari is the best to spot animals like langurs, sloth bears, sambar, deer, tigers, and elephants. If you visit during winter, the park will be filled with more than 586 migratory bird species. Or, you can choose to visit the Garjiya Devi temple and explore the region on your own.

    You will be spending the night in the jungle resort of Jim Corbett national park..

  • Day 4 :Visit Kausani

    After breakfast, you will be checked out of the jungle resort and taken on a road trip for 240 km to reach Kausani. It would take approximately 6 hours of journey through green scenic routes. Switzerland of the country – Kausani is the best place to enjoy nature in its purest form. After checking into a hotel and a brief rest, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour covering the Kasauni Tea estates, Sumitranandan Pant Gallery, Anasakti Ashram (also called the Lakshmi Ashram or Gandhi Ashram). Later, you will be visiting Rudradhari Falls and caves, before retiring to your hotel room.

    You will be spending the night in the hotel in Kausani.

  • Day 5 :Visit Binsar

    After breakfast and check-out, you will be driven to Binsar (3 hours – 80 km) to visit the Binsar wildlife sanctuary. You will be checked into a resort. Later, you will be visiting the foliage-rich wildlife sanctuary to spot numerous animals and birds. After the safari, you will be taken back to your room for relaxation. You can choose to explore the region on your own if you desire to do so.

    You will be spending the night in the hotel in Binsar.

  • Day 6 :Visit Nainital

    After breakfast and check-out, you will be driven to Nainital (3 hours – 90 km). Located in the Kumaon hill belt in the Himalayas, this hill town is a beautiful destination with stunning sceneries, tranquil lakes, green ambiance, and more. After checking into a hotel, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour covering the beauties of the land like Naina Devi Temple, 19th century Church of St. John in the Wilderness, and others.

    You will be spending the night in the hotel in Nainital.

  • Day 7 :Visit Nainital

    After breakfast, you will be taken on a city sightseeing tour in Nainital. You will start the tour by visiting Naini Lake. Later, you will be covering the 19th century Raj Bhavan, which is built in the Victorian Gothic style. You will then be taken on a cable car ride to Snow View (Sher-ka-danda ridge). After enjoying the panoramic view, you will be driven to the local market, Mall Road for shopping and trying local delicacies. This site is also called the Govind Ballabh Pant Marg.

    You will be driven back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Nainital.

  • Day 8 :Departure

    Delhi, you will be transferred to the airport to continue your journey.
