The first day is for you to take a ride to beautiful Dharamshala. The tour starts when you arrive at the Delhi ISBT Kashmiri gate one hour prior to the departure time of the bus. It is preferred to take the overnight bus for Dharamshala, so that the journey can be relaxing and should save some time.
The following day you will reach Dharamshala and can check in to the hotel. the overnight journey makes sure that you are ready to travel and explore the landscapes that are present in the Dharamshala. The major places to visit will be Dal lake, Church, Tibetan monastery and Bhagsu Nag temple. Stay in the hotel overnight and have delicious dinner. The cooler air of Dharmshala in the evening should cheer you up.
Have breakfast in the hotel and get ready to explore the explore the Palampur Tea Garden. This will take the complete day and later have dinner at the hotel.
Next day have breakfast in the hotel early and head out for Dalhousie now. The place to visit in Dalhousie are Khajjiar and Chamba. Both of them are beautiful and are known to be ‘Mini Switzerland of India’. There is forest of Deodar on the sloppy hills of Khajjiar. One of the temple known as the Khajji Nag temple that is supposed to existed from the 12 century is one of the oldest temple. Chamba lies on the bank of river Ravi with the most amazing architecture. Check-in the hotel in Dalhousie and stay overnight.
After having an early breakfast head out for Amritsar where you will visit some prominent places like the Golden Temple, which is one of the most vivid place with most significance in Sikhs. The other places that you will see are Jallianwala Bagh, the place where 1919 British massacre on Indians took place. In the evening you will watch the Indo-Pak border retreat. Return to hotel in Amritsar.
The tour ends, check your luggage and head to station and catch the morning train for Delhi.
